UC International is very pleased to announce the awarding of 11 Education Abroad Program Development Grants.? These grants will fund faculty and staff members to travel abroad in order to design new international programs for students in support of the UC2019 goal of 1500 UC students per year studying abroad.? The 11 proposals were selected from a pool of 35, and represent 8 of UC?s 14 colleges, as well as the Division of Professional Practice, and include internship and service-learning programs as well as more traditional study abroad experiences.? Destinations span the globe, and include India, China, Ghana, Singapore, and Germany, along with closer to home sites such as Canada, Jamaica, and Belize.?

Grant winners will travel between now and July 2012 and will return to campus ready to develop and market their new programs.? Students should look for these new offerings during 2013.?
