EFT ? Emotional Freedom Technique, and Chiropractic

I noticed recently that many of my patients have never heard of EFT (also known as the Emotional Freedom Techniques). Perhaps they had seen the letters on a sidebar of my newsletter, but never demand. Others are aware of the fact that my wife Alina just one of the few certified instructors in the world of EFT with Dawson Church director, and Universe EFT, one of three certification agencies as primary. The rest of you may wonder what EFT and chiropracticto do with them and how they might be used in a caring way. I thought it was time for me to answer this question.

As a chiropractor, I often look at the needs of my patients, "how can I help relieve pain and improve function of her body. Chiropractic has always been on the elimination of nerve interference so the body can heal itself better focused. This idea goes all the way back to the beginning of DD Palmer and chiropractic. Incidentally, I haveAlina heard just the other day with the declaration of EFT as a way to correct the interference energy in the body that, if present, reduce the body's ability to heal. Hmmm, how similar is it? EFT is also used as an emotional version of acupuncture but without needles called. It is wonderful how a technique of self-help that can be learned and used on its own, and chiropractic adjustments should never be applied itself.

One might ask, why use a techniqueThis may cause the demand for my services? The simple answer is that some physical problems I have seen mostly as a mechanic, intertwined with an emotional component, or energy. Other patients have pain, stress, life styles and behaviors, which are mainly due to behavior in the past that no longer serve them they need to see and turn it into something new. EFT is fantastic to achieve this goal.

To give you an idea of ??when I EFT, here are some examples. Has recently set a Patient arrived in the last outbreak of migraine that just started when their husbands began to panic attacks. Another was suffering from anxiety and stress, to the point that he felt that his head had exploded and a long flight and the impending fear of flying at random. Another came up with chronic back pain that an increase was noted when he spoke of anger with a recent marital separation related thoughts. The interweaving of the physical relationshipStressed> are emotionally endless.

All too often patients are told that their symptoms had in their minds. This was not a free diagnosis, and basically means that the symptoms are psychosomatic, or that the doctor knew the patient was "making it up." Psyche (mind) and soma (body) are clearly related, how could it be? Once you have pain, you have a thought about it and then often followed by a feeling which then causes neurotransmitters to be thatthen result in the brain that release hormones into the bloodstream, which then have a physiological effect on things like heart rate, blood pressure, immune defense, etc. So, of course, also published our physical and mental journey together.

So, how do I decide whether to put the cap on chiropractic, and when I pushed my hat EFT? There are no rules, just intuition. Sometimes I use it to help when what I thought would not help enough. Sometimes I get the feeling thatsomething is said, and is an important way for a patient something that he felt was the sharing of their complaint. In one of the ways in which the use of EFT has almost always amazes me with its simplicity and its effectiveness.
