The local leader of San Diego?s Komen for the Cure affiliate is featured in the breast cancer awareness organization?s national ?31 Days of Impact? campaign.
Laura Farmer Sherman, a breast cancer survivor and director of the local Komen affiliate since 2007, is featured on the group?s website with a write-up that details her experience in as a cancer patient and advocate.
Komen is featuring a different impactful person every day in October as a way of commemorating National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
