Kenya Moore apologizes to NeNe Leakes for missing her wedding

Last month, NeNe Leakes re-married her ex-husband, Gregg Leakes, in a showstopping Atlanta ceremony with more than 400 guests, including most of her ?The Real Housewives of Atlanta? co-stars. Even her sometime frenemy,?Kim Zolciak showed up for the occasion. But one person who failed to show up for the joyous event was Leakes? ?RHOA? co-star, Kenya Moore. Now Moore is publicly apologizing to Leakes for skipping the event.

During a recent interview with The Griot, Moore explains that Leakes is angry with her because of her absence. However, she was on a trip out of the country.??I was in Africa at the time. I don?t think she?s too happy about that,? Moore confessed.

Throughout the fifth season of the show, Moore and Leakes seemed to form a strong bond as Leakes regularly defended Moore against the other housewives and gave her moral support. Although Leakes may be angry that her new found friend didn?t show up for her big day, Moore insists that she told Leakes that she wouldn?t be able to make it to the wedding.

?I have apologized to her. We actually were on the same flight to LA last week,? said Moore. ?She has so many things going on I don?t think she really realized that I told her that I wasn?t going to be able to make it. I?m sure I?m gonna get a lot of heat when I?m in the midst of a lot of these women.?

Moore continued her apology by saying that she?d make it up to Leakes with a gift.

?NeNe I love you. You know I couldn?t make your wedding,? Kenya said. ?I will send you the most incredible gift. I will buy several things on your gift registry and have them special delivered. But more importantly you know I love you, and I really appreciate you and I really am sorry that I wasn?t able to make your special day.?
